Meet the handsome Jack!

Jack has come from a loving home and while he is a great little buddy most of the time, he has been surrendered because he sometimes nips without warning which is not conducive to grand parenting duties with toddlers. His previous owners have done a great job with training to get him to the point he is now but it is too stressful for everyone to have him and young children in the same home.

Jack took a week or two to settle into his foster home. The first week he barked a lot and there were a couple of nips but he is now a lot more settled. He can now be at home while his foster carer is at work without any bark alerts on the doggy cam and has become a big sook.

Jack loves being with other dogs and another dog in the home might be beneficial for him. He gets very excited to see his harness and loves going for walks and car rides. Jack walks well on lead and has great recall when off lead. He is also a great jogging buddy.

He is house trained, can use the doggy door and chooses to sleep on his carers bed.

Jack has been a great guest with an elderly lady on some days and has been great with kids that we have met when out on walks. However, with his bite history we want him to go to a home where an accidental bite won’t mean anything more than a tetanus booster and a bandaid (and no hard feelings).
